NEIGHBORHOOD ALERT: Peeping Tom in Ames Court Linked to Recent Assaults in Woodbridge

A resident from the Ames Ct. cul-de-sac reported a peeping Tom in the neighborhood this past week-end. A police report has been filed from this incident on Saturday night April 4th, where she caught a young man trying to peep into her neighbor’s window. The young man escaped, but the police could see his footprints in the grass.

Apparently, the Police believe this is the same suspect that has sexually assaulted someone in the Powell’s Landing area. The FOX five news report link is provided below. News link contains info on him but other stories as well. The story of interest begins at around minute 8:48.

The description of the perpetrator is 5’8-ish, brown hair, late teens / early 20s. He may be on a scooter. Please be aware and review your outdoor cameras. If you see something call 911 immediately.

Ames, Strickland and Hanson cul de sacs back up to Powell’s Landing.  In addition, parts of Hayes and Jennings back on to common area between the two neighborhoods.
